our story

We exist so that asking for help feels as ordinary as asking for chai.

a note from the founder

“We didn't start Emoraa because therapy was missing in India. It wasn't — there are brilliant psychologists here. What was missing was a way to reach them that didn't require money, English, and the courage to walk past a waiting room.

So we built the version we wished our younger selves had found: online, in your own language, at a price that doesn't need hiding from your parents — or your manager.”

— Tarush Mittal, founder

what we won't compromise

Four promises we will not break

Confidentiality is sacred

Not a feature, a foundation. We've turned down revenue rather than loosen it — and we always will.

Language is care

Therapy in the language you dream in. Two and counting, because feelings shouldn't need subtitles.

Evidence over trends

Our therapists practise approaches with research behind them. No crystals, no cold plunges sold as cures.

Priced like we mean it

If a student can't afford the first session, the price is wrong. ₹599 isn't a promotion; it's the principle.

the journey

How Emoraa has grown, year by year

2024

A cup of tea, a shared frustration

Over tea with a friend who is a clinical psychologist, Tarush noticed the conversation kept returning to one thing: the stress, the anxiety and the quiet burnout that everyone around them seemed to be carrying. That conversation became Emoraa.

2025

Building Emoraa

The idea moved from conversation to construction. Work began on Emoraa in earnest — the tech and the clinical thinking built side by side, from the start.

2026

Getting ready

Emoraa is preparing to launch — built from a kitchen-table conversation into something ready for its first users.

whenever you're ready

Begin your journey.
Gently.

The first session is just a conversation. No commitment, no diagnosis on day one, no one else needs to know. Time that is entirely yours.
